Admissions Process
Obtain Autism
Diagnosis
To obtain an autism diagnosis, bring your concerns first to your pediatrician. If symptoms are significant enough to warrant further testing, they will refer you to a child psychologist, psychiatrist, or neurologist who will complete your child’s autism evaluation.
Contact
Us
After you receive your child’s ASD diagnosis, contact us to set a date for your child’s behavioral evaluation. We want to meet with you to discuss your main goals and concerns for treatment.
Complete
Evaluation
Your child’s assigned BCBA will meet with you to discuss your goals and concerns for your child, then complete a full evaluation to determine the need for services.
Submit Plan of Care to Insurance
BCBA will write up their observations and goals for services and submit the plan to your insurance. It typically takes 3-6 weeks to receive approval for services from insurance. This is the longest step in the admission process.
Begin
Services
After receiving approval from your insurance, we will notify you to discuss your child’s regular schedule and prospective start date.
